BIO
I am a woman of indigenous Mayan blood and my deep-to-the bone language with textiles is one that connects me and the wearer to Spirit. What I call the energetics of fashion. In shamanism we believe in an animistic way of life, where everything has a soul. I speak to the threads that want to be woven, to the colours that want to be paired, blessing each piece I create with palo santo – a powerful reminder of the land – and its scent healing the wearer.
Hummingbird, Eagle, Snake and Jaguar. These are the four archetypal energies that form part of my design ethos, my personal life and the work I do with women’s circles, shamanic drumming and movement ceremonies.
With over 10 years of experience in the fashion & textile industry, ICF approved Somatic Coaching certification, and experience mentoring & facilitating for over {X} women, I am committed to creating experiences for women to see that their nervous system holds the power and joy is the medicine.
